For best results, seal uncoated or tannin rich timber with Feast Watson Proofseal and allow to dry thoroughly before applying Timber Floor Stain & Varnish.

How to apply your Timber Floor Stain & Varnish Liming White:
First, check that you’re ready to go:
Without introducing any bubbles, use a flat blade stirrer and thoroughly stir your product both before and during application.
Note: If you are coating a large space and need more than one Timber Floor Stain & Varnish Liming White, mix both cans together in a large container.
Make sure you love your colour choice! Test your colour on an off-cut to ensure you love your colour.
Let’s do this:
Using the Feast Watson Floor Finish Applicator, brush, or short nap mohair roller, apply your first coat. Work along 3-4 floorboards at a time, maintaining a wet edge to prevent lap marks and lay off in the direction of the grain. And remember, avoid introducing any bubbles!
If applying by roller, use a short nap (5mm) mohair roller. Ensure edges and end grain are fully coated.
Timber Floor Stain & Varnish is a three-coat flooring system. If you have achieved your colour before 3 coats that's okay! Finish off your floor with a suitable flooring polyurethane and you're good to go.
Note: With each coat, you get a stronger Liming White colour. Continue applying coats by the above procedure, sanding between coats, until your desired colour is achieved.
How to maintain my floor using Timber Floor Stain & Varnish Liming White:
Regularly clean using a suitable liquid floor cleaner.
Ensure you keep an eye on your floor for signs of colour loss or surface defects.
When floor requires an additional coat of Timber Floor Stain & Varnish, apply as per the instructions for Previously Coated Surfaces.
