How to Stain your Interior Wooden Furniture

Want to switch up your interior space’s colour scheme?

Change up your furniture’s aesthetics with  Feast Watson’s Prooftint interior wood stain which has a laundry list of colours to suit everyone. It’s got warm natural shades in timber stains for furniture like Mahogany and Brown Japan.

You could also pick Maple or Oak for a lighter, less intense colour. Unlike paint, Prooftint adds colours to your timber without hiding the grain. If you are looking for a wood stain for a dining table or coffee table, then you have come to the right place to get started.

Breathe new life into your timber furniture with Feast Watson’s Prooftint range of stains!

Using Prooftint

Benefits of using Prooftint on your timber furniture:

  • Prooftint is easy to use, dries fast, and can hide scratches and damage to stained timber
  • It has flexibility to match colours with many of Feast Watson’s other products, so you won’t have to worry about mismatched tones in your final look.
  • Refreshes your timber furniture with deluxe, stained finish.

How to get that @dotandpop look for your wooden furniture

  1. Sand surface back to bare timber
  2. Clean off any sanding dust or by-product
  3. Apply the Prooftint evenly over the chosen area with a brush or cloth
  4. Wait 2-5 minutes to let the product penetrate, then wipe off any excess using a clean, soft cloth
  5. Make sure the edges of adjoining sections are stained equally by evenly wiping the overlap area
  6. Once it’s dry, be sure to seal it with a clear topcoat. I used Feast Watson’s Clear Varnish, which seals in the stain and provides a protective surface.
