How to prepare my timber for Feast Watson Sanding Sealer:
New Timber
Sand timber and remove all sanding dust before coating.
Previously Coated Timber
Previously coated surfaces need to be sanded to bare timber.
Remember to remove all sanding dust before coating!
How to use Feast Watson Sanding Sealer on my wood and timber:
Apply Sanding Sealer using a brush, roller, or spray gun.
Are you using a spray? If so, add 20% of mineral turpentine to thin product.
Depending on grain depth, apply 1-2 coats of Sanding Sealer.
If applying with a spray, two or more coats may be required.
Allow to dry before sanding off all surface material with medium grade sandpaper. Remember to remove all dust from the surface prior to applying the desired topcoat.
Looking to stain? Make sure to apply Feast Watson Prooftint after the final Sanding Sealer coat has been sanded, and prior to the application of topcoats.
How to maintain my timber after using Feast Watson Sanding Sealer:
Keep an eye on your timber for signs of colour loss or surface defects.
When required, sand back the previous coating and remove dust.
Apply Sanding Sealer as per application instructions.
